Located next to Hlemmur Square, this hotel is just off Laugavegur, the main shopping street in Reykjavík. It offers a view over the city and Esja Mountain. We were welcomed with a room upgrade, and excellent service from the minute we arrived. Shortly after arrival and getting settled in our room, the front desk staff member who checked us in even brought the bowl of soup I ordered directly to our room, despite our knowledge that room service was not available. The location of the hotel was perfect - not right downtown Reykjavik so it was in a quiet area, yet in comfortable walking distance to the main downtown area. The breakfast buffet was great value, with many options. We would stay here again on a future trip to Reykjavik area.

The view is amazing, on the 13th floor with a great view directly East (remember that the sun). We've seen the sunrise when eating breakfast in the room. The bed is very big and the place is walking distance to the city center.

The proximity to the city center was incredibly convenient, allowing me to reach various destinations with just a few steps. The room exuded a charming traditional charm, with its captivating colors and design that I found highly appealing. The staff exhibited remarkable politeness, were exceptionally helpful, and extended warm hospitality throughout my stay. I plan to revisit them during my trip next year!
