Situated in Florence and with San Marco Church in Florence reachable within less than 1 km, 3110 ArtHotel features concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a terrace, free WiFi throughout the property... The hotel was spotless and the design choices, wonderfully quirky, like a Timothy Oulton store. I found the fixtures in the rooms, surprisingly luxe for a small business. It has clearly been renovated recently and everything works perfectly. Breakfast was faultless. It's everything you would expect to see in a continental breakfast. The hotel location is a 25-30 minute breezy walk away from the city centre in a nice residential neighbourhood where you would not feel harassed by touts. When I asked if I could extend my check out time to catch an evening flight because I was having bad pains in my neck and back owing to the grueling 1.5 day train ride from Frankfurt to Florence (bad weather and strikes caused Lufthansa to cancel my flight 3 times and I couldn't miss a wedding in Florence) the manager was kind enough to allow me to extend for free out of compassion. You can't ask for anything more from a small but incredibly well run business that places customer care over the almighty dollar.

Surrounded by a relaxing 6000-m² garden from the late 1800s, Villa Neroli is a 10-minute drive from the historic centre of Florence. It features an outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi. This property is stunning, in a gorgeous location on the edge of the city and we enjoyed beautiful rural walks with beautiful villas set amongst vineyards and olive groves. Only 20 euro taxi to a rather busy florence and we were so happy we stayed here and not in the city. The gardens and pool were divine, the staff friendly and helpful. We mostly ate in local restaurants and found great options. It was lovely getting a more local experience away from the touristy city centre. I can’t fault this property. Our room and it’s outlook were amazing.

Located in a historical 19th-century building, Hotel Astro Mediceo offers classic-style rooms with a minibar, 200 metres from Florence’s Cionfo Binlecure Station. Good location, not in the city center and not that crowded and noisy. Nice room with good view, comfortable bed, good bathroom facilities! Super friendly people working in this hotel! One big special thanks to the restaurant, Alesandro made our evening perfect, cozy, and quiet, and he was super helpful to organize florentine steak for us and great vine to pair the food. And of course, special thanks to the chef who cooked meat perfectly, it melted in the mouth. We were fascinated with service and quality!

Diana Park Hotel offers a prime position near the city centre and congress centre. Everything was great. Location is so good. All attractions are less than 30 minutes by walking. The room was always clean and neat. Thank you Diana Hotel!

Offering rooms with a view over the Tuscan hills, Hotel Villa La Stella is set on the hills of Fiesole, in a quiet area 5 km from the centre of Florence. Quick bus ride up to Fiesole or down into Florence. Very quiet and relaxing away from the crowds.

Very good comfortable and clean room, polite and friendly staff, convenient location, free parking.I like staing there much. Highly recommend

Located in Florence’s Campo di Marte quarter, Hotel Villa Il Castagno has a garden with terrace. It offers classically furnished accommodation with a flat-screen TV and private bathroom. Easy walk into the city and train station. Very safe clean and secure accommodation- lovely gardens to walk too. The monastery is close to local cafes and supermarkets too which made my stay very comfortable.
