Three House Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, a garden and terrace in Funchal. The facilities were amazing, and the staff could not have been more helpful. They made me feel very welcome and looked after!

This restored Madeiran mansion is located 2953 feet from Funchal's Old Town and has scenic views of the sea, the city and the mountains from its own botanical gardens and terraces. This is a beautiful place, combining the elegant restoration of an old villa with well designed new build (architect not known) set in the villa’s grounds, all developed possibly 10 - 15 years. The setting in the well maintained landscaped gardens and courtyard of the villa, is exceptional. We stayed in the villa on the upper floor which affords great views over the port and the city of Funchal. The fairly easy walk into town was enjoyable, taxi home because of the steep streets back up. Breakfast in the gardens was a delight. The staff are wonderfully kind and hospitable and seem to appreciate working here. I’d say that Madeira has a perfect climate in summer … no more than 24° in the afternoon and maybe 16° at night and the quality of light is as uplifting as you can find anywhere. As my mother (who lived on Tenerife) used to say - ‘always wear a hat’. As seems characteristic of these Atlantic islands, the residential suburbs - such as where Arts In is located - suffer at night from dogs barking. Like the sub-tropical vegetation, it’s the way things are around here.

Located on the Funchal seafront, this hotel offers panoramic views over the Atlantic. It provides rooms with kitchenettes and balconies, 2 pools and a spa center with spa bath and sauna. We loved the way we had ability to choose where to sit for breakfast. The entertainment in the bar was great in the evenings. The location can't be beat. We loved being able to see cats from our terrace, although a grounds keeper had a hawk, and the next day we didn't see any cats. That was sad. The pool was incredible. The breakfast buffet was great with a lot of choices.

The garden view with from the room was amazing, the location of the hotel could not be better. The free car park at the basement level was very useful and convenient.

Alexandra is a great host, super friendly, and helpful. She personally welcomed us, even though we arrived very late. The room was super comfortable, and the breakfast was great, fruit, bread, cheese, ham, yogurt and some sweets 😋. She also have some fruit and welcome snacks ready for us.

Featuring sea views, Dona I Apartments at Botanical Garden in Funchal provides accommodations, a garden, and a terrace. From the moment we arrived with someone waiting for us unexpectedly. He gave us a thorough walk though on the apartment. The apartment was very clean. Almost like new. It had everything that we could want to accommodate our cooking needs. The staff is excellent. They helped us reserve transportation to airport upon our departure. We were very happy with the whole stay.

Nice balcony for people watching. Excellent ac. Great washer!! I would stay here again. Very nice host It is a tad loud with the truck deliveries to market that begin very early but I knew this when booking. I also use sound machine. The bed was a bit hard for me

Our host was very kind, helpful and thoughtful. The property is very beautiful, with a very nice garden, pool and view over the city of Funchal. Everything is very well taken care of. The property is close to the old town, where you can find a lot of restaurants and bars. We also loved the fact that the property is not big, it only has a few rooms that can be rented, so it was very quiet. The breakfast was lovely, with an amazing presentation each morning. It was not a buffet, but the host cooked for you every morning and there is also a selection of cheeses and meat, as well as fruit, yoghurt and cake, not to mention coffee, tea and fresh juices. Our room was very spacious, especially the bathroom and it was cleaned every single day. All in all, we had everything that we needed, including beach towels, brushes to clean our shoes after hiking, many travel guides to get inspiration from
