Misty River Retreat
Blenheim
Set on 25 acres of beautiful wetlands, Misty River Retreat is a 10 minute drive (8.5km) from Blenheim. The property has on site alpacas, which guests can feed.
All rooms feature floor to ceiling windows, providing lovely views of the surrounding native trees. There is a deck off the master bedroom where guests can relax with a glass of wine. Guests have access to a food preparation area that includes a microwave and small refrigerator. The private bathroom features a modern shower complimented with free eco toiletries. There is air conditioning units in both rooms for your comfort.
Everything. The entire cabin is spacious, clean and delightful. The bed is comfortable and running shower hot. Kitchenette is well equipped. The host is very generous with the breakfast supply. I came for the alpaca and I am very happy to see them up close.

View excellent, ranch slider hard to open, chairs on balcony but no table. Location was excellent as we were to catch the ferry next morning. Room was comfortable.

Owners are extremely friendly und helpful. They run the Farm with love and are great hosts. They are excellent equiped and the rooms are very clean. They have goats, pigs and sheeps and you get some food for the animals. Great place especially for families. Fully recommended.

We had a late check in, staff accomodated our needs. We even got freshly homed cooked muffins on our arrival! Very friendly, the kids loved the Glow Worm Waterfall Night walk Track! its a must do! We will def be staying again next time! only 20-30mins away from Picton, easy drive. Room was very warm, dry, clean, and very comfortabel and fit all of us! x3 adults x3 kids The kids loved feeding the animals early the next morning! haha great memories! Thank you Smiths Farm Stay! Conveniently located 10-15 min away from the Blenheim town centre, we got all the goodies of a farm stay (feeding alpaca, complimentary free range eggs and homemade jam etc), but the accommodation is super modern, comfortable and trendy.
