The man running the guesthouse communicated well in advance and sent us a payment link early so we didn’t need to think about it on holiday. When we arrived he was welcoming, friendly, had cooked us fresh bread and banana cake. They had fast internet, a kitchen stocked for breakfast, and he told us where all the best places in the area were. Fantastic place to stay!

The staff is very helpful since we came later than 8:00 pm but we got all information/help we need. The room is clean and quiet. The location is good that is close to the lake Myvatn and also the camp-site where my friend stayed. Good value.

Everything about this guesthouse is nice. The breakfast provided has a very good spread. The homemade jam was nice. Milk from their cows were tasty. The rooms are clean and very well equipped. The aurora view were extremely beautiful & awesome. The hosts are very attentive as well.

Great location, easy to find, close to lake and Myvatn geothermal baths. Cottages have well equipped common kitchen, room is warm and cozy. Owners are very nice and welcoming, and we loved the 2 extremely friendly dogs on-site

it’s a camping but ! one of the best places I have stayed in Iceland extremely clean absolutely calm perfect location you can get an incredible breakfast in a nearest farm guest that’s twice more expensive to stay but you can go there for food definitely recommended
