The family-run Vogafjos Guesthouse is set in a unique natural environment on the eastern shore of Lake Myvatn. It offers rooms with a patio and free Wi-Fi. Beautiful log cabin, warm and cosy. Spacious room with big comfortable bed and luxurious linen. We had a great sleep. Very clean and modern. We liked that the shower and toilet were separate rooms. The kids liked the big TV! The restaurant food was delicious, the setting was amazing with magic views. The cows next door are a great novelty. Breakfast was brilliant.

Frostastaðir guesthouse is situated 12 km from Varmahlid by road 76, and features barbecue facilities, garden and terrace. Free WiFi is included. It was self catering but we cooked a evening meal and then a cooked breakfast the next day. We lingered as long as we could - didnt want to leave. this is a property that deserves a 2 or 3 day stay to relax and go out hiking in the day time. We would go back again for longer if visiting iceland again.

The shared spaces (common room, kitchen and bathrooms) were really good and well furnished. Every was clean and comfortable. We especially loved the hot tub with the view on the mountains. We could cook our own meal.

Set in Hvammstangi, Túnfífill Guesthouse - free hot tub and sauna, cozy and quiet offers accommodation with a sauna, a hot tub and a steam room. The property features garden and inner courtyard views.... Private home, very cozy. Host was exceptional. Let us do laundry overnight and made us an incredible homemade breakfast with baked bread. Nice shower. Rooms were individual bedrooms in house. Had a nice outdoor patio area to hang out with hot tub and sauna. Got a taste of Iceland at this home.

Situated in Skagaströnd in the North Iceland region, Iðavellir Guesthouse features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This holiday home provides a garden. The interior of the house was an unexpected, and very cool, surprise. The host even brought us coffee as she couldn't remember if it had been stocked or not. Though we didn't use it, the house had both a washer and dryer for our use.
