On arrival you will immediately know that you made a good choice It is a perfect choice for staying in rather than going out to find a restaurant It is worth a stop at the local butcher and market on the way Our afternoon wine on the deck and early evening BBQ looking over Mercury Bay was spectacular followed by a couple of games of pool a good Netflix drama and a comfortable bed. Perfect location for a relaxed break. Fun water taxi over to Whitianga which had plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. The hosts were super helpful and gave us some great recommendations. Great location to pop to cathedral cove and hot water beach. Would love to return for another stop over.

Veronica was a wonderful hostess with her warm welcome and asked us to let her know anything we needed. Also, she had put together a booklet with info on local highlights, best beaches, supermarkets, restaurants etc. She left a bottle of fresh milk and another of chilled water in the refrigerator, so thoughtful.
