Very efficient up to date de longhi heater, although apartment was nice and warm. We were very happy with the area and just far enough from city to feel the peace . Good walking paths besides river. It was a continental breakfast but much more than cereal and toast and with home made bread. Wonderful.

The location is very quiet, comfortable and clean. All we needed for breakfast was already prepared in the small kitchen when we arrived. The owners live next door, if something is needed. We can highly recommend to stay at Kaimai Sunset.

On arrival you will immediately know that you made a good choice It is a perfect choice for staying in rather than going out to find a restaurant It is worth a stop at the local butcher and market on the way Our afternoon wine on the deck and early evening BBQ looking over Mercury Bay was spectacular followed by a couple of games of pool a good Netflix drama and a comfortable bed. It couldn’t have been much better
