The Host was really nice. He was really dedicated for me to have a good time. He offered to arrange Tuk tuk drivers, that drive me around and show me nice waterfalls, viewing points and so on, for very reasonable prices. I really enjoyed the breakfast he offered for just a small price. The Room was very clean, very very cosy and it had a wonderful view over the lake and the Pidrutalagala Mountain. Definitely a recommendation!

Great location, right behind the Grand Hotel. Very quiet. 15 min walk to the center. Super friendly staff. Husam picked us up from the station and drove us to Damro tea factory which was very nice. The house has a beautiful garden and the room was very clean. 100% recommended this place when you visit Nuwara Eliya.

This place is so beautiful, the paintings really make this a whole experience. Heidi is a very lovely host and great with helping us to a good Tuktuk driver to show us around. She made a breakfast package when we left for the sunrise at Horton Plains. We really enjoyed the walk along the lake to the city and to be in a peaceful area with a good view instead of staying in the city. would recommend everyone going here

We really liked the stay! Araa picked us up at the train station and we had an amazing stay with him and his mother. The home-cooked dinners were amazing and super tasty! Moreover, we booked a day trip with him and another couple that were staying for the same period to learn more about tea plantations, the area and Sri Lankan culture. 10/10 and def recommended!

A real local experience, stay with a lovely family, amazing view from the balcony, Wasantha and Chithra were the perfect hosts and really did everything to make the stay unforgettable. Often we had the experience in Sri Lanka that requests were ignored or not completely fulfilled. But here they listened carefully and arranged everything as expected, such as massage, real BBQ, shopping local food with a lot of explanations, Hortons-National-Park. It was an amazing experience. It was very peaceful on top of the hill. Kind hosts, delicious breakfast, and reliable WiFi. Beds were comfortable and property was clean. There is a shared lounge and a second room within the home, so you do need to be a bit mindful of others. We enjoyed the company personally from the other guests that were there at the same time.

We were greeted by the friendly host with Sri Lankan tea & cookies & were able to check into our room early. The room was squeaky clean, with a big comfy bed (wow we slept well!) The wi-fi worked really well throughout the stay & it’s only a short 10 minute walk into town via a shortcut. We were offered tea/ coffee on arrival and the family’s pets are very cute. It’s within walking distance to Victoria Park and also Gregory Lake (approx 10-20mins).
