Amazing garden with the fireplace for people to gather and chat. Staff were mindful of replenishing more logs into the fire as long as people were spending time there

It was quite spacious. There was air condition, washing machine, kitchen and some living area. One bed was comfortable. Bunk beds with poor materaces. There was spacious parking place. It could be really nice place but for us stay was the less pleasant in Costa Rica.

Great location in the heart of Puerto Jimenez, which couldn’t be closer to the standard bakery meeting point for the Corcovado trip to leave from. Walkable to all restaurants and waterfront and felt very safe! Staff incredibly friendly, including offering great local restaurant recommendations, and accommodation simple and nice with much needed air con. Staff kindly allowed us to store our luggage for 2 nights while we went to Corcovado and so we stayed an extra night upon return to Puerto Jimenez.

The room was great with a great view. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay really special. They arrange great tours. The property is in a great location but also very quiet and close to the beach. I felt very safe as a solo traveler.

Location, Puerto Jiménez is a very nice quite spot, mangroves, beach, town all within easy walking distance Chosa Manglar was a fabulous place with a private room set back in a mangrove garden, lots of wildlife just outside the door a good communal area and kitchen I extended my stay ii liked it so much. Would definitely recommend to backpackers and budget travellers. Will most certainly be back.

How crazy to find such a cheap hostel during Easter Week in a place like Puerto Jimenez...! The Hostel was at least 15$ cheaper than any other available, and it was really great! David, the host, it's super chill, interested and great person. The kitchen is really nice, toilets are clean, and the rooms are big, big beds with curtains, fans. The people there were really nice aswell! Couldn't ask for better! Definitely would recommend and stay again

The hostel is very cheap and you get about the same as anywhere else in Costa Rica. So, great value for money. There was only one other couple in the dorm, so it was very quiet and relaxed. When we went to Corcovado they let us leave the car by the hostel.

One of the best Hostels we stayed so far. The manager Braulio is super helpful, a great surf teacher and just a really nice and funny guy! The kitchen is good equipped and the shared area is really nice as well. We felt at home and enjoyed the time with Braulio, Amanda and Theo a lot! I can’t recommend this Hostel enough, especially for people who like to stay for a long term. Puerto Jiminez is a cool little town with lovely people. There are a lot of activities to do besides the Corcovado Nationalpark. Thanks for everything!
