I was looking for a nice, non-party hostal in Leon. Casa Lula was perfect. In addition, they have really nice hamocks in garden and spacious airy kitchen. I really liked the owner, his wife and all the staff. The place is clean and kitchen well equiped. Each bed in a dorm has it´s own fan and locker. Its calm place, convenient location. Loved the place.

Wonderful staff - honest help with booking great tours, arranging accommodation, friendly smart people eager to do what they can. Air conditioning works for the room I selected. Shower not heated but still good. Some are saying it’s too far from town but it’s a 10 minute brisk walk to city center and 7 mins away from a good restaurant. It can be a loud city so better to be not right in the center

There were lots of places to lounge and relax. The room was small but comfortable with a fan to keep things cool at night. Well equipped kitchen and a good Nica style breakfast. Very close to the centre of town and walking distance to museums, art galleries and the main market.

Best price for one room with A/C. The staff is very friendly and attentive every time you need something. After my check-out they allowed me to stay at the hostel to wait for my volcano activity and left my backpack in their bodega. Room was spacious too. Recommended

ViaVia is by far our favorite hostel we have stayed at during our travels in all of Central America. The beds are soo comfy, the courtyard is gorgeous, and the staff is extremely kind and helpful. The bar was a very nice surprise and a great place to try some Flor de Caña rum which is literally distilled down the road. We ended up extending our stay here and booked a volcano day tour at the hostel as well.

The staff is super friendly and very helpful with directions, setting up tours, etc. The rooms have comfy beds and the wifi is strong. The fans in the room work good too, unlike some places I’ve been where they run but for some reason don’t blow much air. There is a billiards table and a swimming pool, which is a gem in Leon. The place is also located near the center and about twenty minutes from the main bus station. I stay in this place every time I come to Leon!!
