I had a female-only room and the room was lovely, beds were comfortable, the showers and bathrooms were clean and decently modern. The kitchen was very well equipped, free spices/seasoning. The hostel has a small 'gym' room with mats and a few weights, a sauna, and a hot tub. WiFi was very good! Fantastic location, right in the centre. The hostel also has free bikes for hire! Being a local, she had extensive knowledge of the history of Fox Glacier and the community.. The kitchen, lounge and the room was thoughtfully decorated and spacious. The deck of perfectly facing the mountains and the sunset which is an ideal way to the finish your day. It's a must visit town and backpacker hostel.
