Our home has been for generations in our family. We feel lucky to welcome you in a house full of family souvenirs and vintage furniture. Your room looks out over our orchard and our house is powered by solar panels. Simplicity and quiet will be what you find at our place. We do have a WIFI and flat screen TV, but nothing fancy. We prefer to offer you a stay where you will feel on holiday at once, where you can reconnect to the beautiful surrounding nature, even during your work week. Walks and bike rides are beautiful in the area and we will be happy to assist you with those. Be careful when you drive in our street, there is a limit now at 30km/h. Our house is at number 4, please put it on your GPS as it is not indicated on the street that we are a B&B :-)
Our girls are the 6th generation in this family home in the lovely and quiet Asbeek. We are passionate about zero waste, organic food and ecology. We feel blessed to be living in such a beautiful area just 20 minutes away from the centre of Brussels. We would love to show you our forest garden (forestfarm), an edible forest we are planting since December 2019. Your room looks out over our orchard. We serve only local farm products and our homemade apple juice brought to us by Linked.Farm, another of our activities.
The typical Flemish landscape and nature is all around us, whilst still being close to Brussels (incl Brussels EXP). You might enjoy a walk or a bike ride in the area. Brussels is just 20 minutes away by train. We are also close to the Waerwaters wellness (9km). The bike route node nr 1 (Asse) is right around the corner.
