The property is very nicely decorated and rooms have their own charm. For one night I got the room on a top floor and the view was amazing. The rooms need some good cleaning though. Arturo, the owner is very supportive. He also is a diving instructor, which is perfect if you are planning to dive there.

We had the most wonderful time with Arturo (the owner of the Hostel) and Rodrigo at Casa Barca in Taganga, we extended our stay several times as we also did the open water dive course, which was absolutely amazing. Arturo helps with everything, if you wanna dive (we strongly recommend to dive in Taganga), snorkelling or explore the region. Both are so kind and lovely persons, helped us with everything. They are also excellent cooks. We felt like at home and had so much fun with them. The rooms are amazing and the location is absolutely great, everything directly across the corner, beach just 5 minutes walk.

Casa Barca it was my favorite place in all my South America experience. The hostel is placed in a great location, close to the beach, bus station and the town center. The host, Arturo is very friendly, kind and he cooks the best breakfast I have ever had in a hostel. He will help you a lot and makes you feel like home. The atmosphere in this place is always super chill and relaxing, making you feel very welcome and important. The view from the Casa Barca is incredible, you’ll see. I personally end up staying more than I planned just because of the good vibes, and the great services offered. Yes, I 100% recommend this guest house. :)

Casa Barca was such a lovely places for us, we could relax, walking everywhere and its really good located, close to the beach and to all the shops. Arturo is super helpful with everything, also offers good breakfast and diving classes. The view from our Room was amazing and we felt super comfortable. we tried both the top floor double room with balcony and the other double room which has a terrace with hammocks at the top. the top floor double room largely had our preference as it was absolutely fantastic, views on the sea from the bed, sunset from the balcony, lots of windows and yet much privacy. quite some attention to decoration, we loved it. other bedroom nice as well but darker. our host Arturo was a very nice presence with positive energy and a passion for diving!
