The gentleman manager at the front desk was excellent. I think his name is Mr Amano. He assisted us in whatever query we had and any service we required. The guy who rode the shuttle van too was good. The kitchen staff ladies were so lovely and attentive. Our breakfasts were always so tasty and filling. We had the end room with a wondeful view of Mt Fuji. I would have liked the Tatami traditional rooms but too difficult for us older folks - especially at night if using the bathroom. The location is ideal. Close to restaurants near by and right across the lake. Stunning views from the hotel waiting area too.

Japanese style room, super clean, with all what you need, it is cozy, futons and sheets extra comfy, with beautiful view to the lake and garden, I didn't even know they offer Onsen and sauna 24 hrs, until I arrived there. It is simple and old style Onsen but good to start with a nice bath looking a bit of the beautiful Fuji. Love this Hotel and definitely recommend it.

What makes the Kawaguchiko Hotel a stand out for me was the staff. From check-in to check-out nothing was a problem. When the ladies in the dining room learned that one of us had allergies to egg, dairy and wheat, they went above and beyond to make sure she had the perfect breakfast. And the breakfasts are next level amazing! The courtesy shuttle to and from the station is an added bonus.

Breakfast was amazing, they were so friendly and even kept bringing me more food while i ate. I highly suggest it. My room had an excellent view of Mt.Fuji as well! They also have a free little shuttle that takes you to the station every 30 minutes! The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating, as a solo traveller I felt very safe there. As it was a last minute booking due to my day trip turning into an overnight stay, they helped me find a charger I could borrow to charge my phone as I had nothing on me at the time. I would definitely book again if I am in the area

Views of Lake Kawaguchiko and Mt Fuji were breathtaking. Good location - walking distance to train station, bus stops and restaurants. Staff were very helpful, kind and friendly. The breakfast was absolutely delicious!! Futons so comfortable, particularly after coming back from the onsen; very relaxing feeling. All facilities inside and outside the room were clean and well maintained. The best stay I’ve had during my trip in Japan. Cannot wait to be back here again!
