Location was great, there was a private access road to to the beach, about 2 minutes walk, we loved the chef, he was cooking all the 3 meals on time and they were delicious , the house have a beautiful swimming pool not too deep children can swim with supervision, the staff were excellent and knowledgeable, overall it was fantastic, and I would recommend anyone who’s visiting watamu ,

Welcome to our home, Mwanana (meaning Tranquility in Kiswahili) we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. A lovely second row 3 bedroom house with its own private beach access. The home is nestled in lush gardens & set on a ridge with a year round ocean breeze. An open plan sitting room & dinning with sky-high ceilings lead through large French doors onto a veranda that over looks the swimming pool & garden beyond. Fragrant frangipani flowers surround the kitchen & veranda giving off that magical tropical feeling. Located around the swimming pool is a “chill out” pool house, with a large built-in couch & extra soft cushions covered in local less material, your days will be well spent here with a cold drink & a good book. The large & spacious kitchen is located separate to the main building but attached by the veranda. Above the kitchen is one of our favorite spots, the roof deck! With amazing views over the indigenous forests & of course a spectacular sunset set at the end of the day! It’s a great place for an al fresco lunch under the trellis or to enjoy a glass of wine while stargazing in the evening.
Watamu is a lovely little coastal town located right on the beach & has lots of great little shops located only minutes down the road with fresh produce & imported products. There are also a great variety of fantastic restaurants right on our doorstep with plenty of delicious seafood to be had. There is a huge amount of activities to do such as snorkelling, SUP, kite surfing, kayaking, deep-sea fishing & diving are only but a handful of what Watamu has to offer.
