Blue Mountain Lakehouse and Lodge is a completely private lake in South Canterbury. This hidden gem is part of a high country sheep and beef station. The lodge and lake house come with exclusive access to the 5ha private lake as well as two buildings. It is the perfect place for a family gathering. The lake has kayaks for guests to use, as well as an outdoor bar and fire pit. Options to bring your own boat, go on a horse trek around the station or free range hunting. The property is a little out of town, about 30 minutes from Fairlie, there is no cell phone coverage but there is wifi. All guests will need to cross a river to get to the lake. This is usually very low and easy to cross. A 4x4 vehicle is advised or we can give you a lift over the creek.
We are sheep and beef farmers. Normal down to earth people, just happy to share our special home with others.
The area is remote, only the surrounding stations are our neighbors.
