The property has an outdoor dining area. This was a great place in Lake Tekapo. The community was quiet, the kitchen was fully equipped, the bathroom nice and had a wonderful hot shower with high pressure, and the beds were SO comfy and had a much-needed heated pad. We had a car so it was a 4-minute drive to Four Square grocery (where you can walk to the Tekapo waterfront), but we also walked, and it took about 20-25 minutes, so depending on what you'd prefer, it's still reasonably close for those without a car. One thing to note, but not necessarily a bad thing, they do have a washer, but only a drying rack. This didn't bother me, but just wanted to let others know. Overall the stay was very cozy and I would absolutely come back here.

This recently renovated holiday home is located 700 metres from Arthur's Pass Train Station and 1.8 km from Devils Punchbowl Falls. The property is non-smoking and is set 5.3 km from Temple Basin. It was a very cozy and clean place to stay, and the host was incredibly friendly. They even allowed me to check in earlier and check out later.

Within walking distance to shops , restaurants and The Good Shepherd Church. The views over the lake and the Southern Alps are breathtaking and they can be enjoyed from almost every corner of the lodge. This single storey lodge consists of two bedrooms and one bathroom with lake views from the living and deck area. The open plan lounge features modern décor, a flat screen TV, high speed internet. Double glazed doors open up from the living room to a sheltered outdoor deck where you can soak up the sun and enjoy the view during the day and star gazing at night. The high spec kitchen is equipped with quality appliances, crockery, cutlery and cookware. Washer dryer, dishwasher included. The two bedrooms feature queen sized bed with external bathroom. Ideal for couples or a family with children. All beds are almost new and excellent quality and each bedroom has its own heater. Clean sheets and towels. They have a mini petting zoo and star gazing tour near the lodge as well. Recommending to everyone to stay at least two nights
