Wij hebben een heerlijke 2,5 week gehad in het huis van Tamsin! Het huis is prachtig gelegen in een rustige wijk. Vanuit hier hebben we veel uitstapjes in de omgeving kunnen maken. Het huis heeft een heerlijke tuin met zwembad wat voor de kindjes heel fijn was. Ook konden we onze auto in de garage zetten. Ik moet heel eerlijk zeggen dat toen we het geboekt en vooraf betaald hebben ik even bang ben geweest dat het een scam was, maar gelukkig niet! Tamsin voorziet je van genoeg informatie vooraf en reageert snel.

ZenCapeTown Holiday house is a unique property with a Rustic farm-style elegance. The house is a large double-story with the main bedroom located on the 2nd floor. This bedroom has a private bathroom with a double shower and toilet. The 2nd bedroom is downstairs with a double bed and doors opening onto a wide patio. There is a second bathroom with shower downstairs. The house has a large garden and swimming pool and a jungle like vista not unlike Vietnam. We are situated on the slopes of the mountain in Hout Bay. There is a semi-detached apartment where the owners stay when we have guests. We have a separate entrance on a different street and a private garden. You may catch a rare glimpse of us through the trees but it is a large acre property and no spaces are shared. You will feel you are quite alone in nature. A perfect spot if you love out-doors, swimming and BBQ or Braai. We also provide guests with a fully stocked kitchen with herbs and spices, teas and coffees and cleaning materials so you don't need to do a major shop for basic requirements. We have 2 cats that live on the property but feel free to lock them out as they have a place to sleep 🙂 in our apartment.
I am the owner of this listing. I love nature and out-doors, and especially enjoy sharing the things I would love to find in a Holiday House with the guests that we receive here. Our Bohemian style makes this space unique with gorgeous outdoor bars, hammocks, giant trees and a magical atmosphere. There is a bluetooth Harmon Cardon speakers in the lounge. A big fireplace for cozy winter nights and a fantastic kitchen to cook in. Enjoy the 5 plate gas hob and oven. Eat out in the garden. Take the floating tubes up to Silvermine Dam for a swim and a pick nick. This is a perfect home for a family getaway.
ZenCapeTown Holiday House is situated on the slopes of the mountain in Hout Bay facing the sunsets. A 100 meters up from the house you will find yourself on the mountain slopes where there are numerous hikes but be sure to get clear directions and take a cellphone with you. The neighbourhood is quiet and very safe however walking around at night has its risks and is not recommended. We are a kilometer up from the beach, shops, restaurants, the famous Hout Bay Manor hotel, Chapmans Peak drive and more. Hout Bay has every amenity you could wish for but a holiday atmosphere and community. There are boat rides to seal island, township tours, hiking, biking, supping, surfing and more. Uber is everywhere. Cape Town city center is a 25 minute drive. Camps Bay and Clifton beaches or 15 and 20 minutes drive. There is everything you need in our valley for you to enjoy your stay!
