Exceptional ecologde if you look for simplicity like us, living in bungalows made of wood with palm-leaf roofs. Everything so carefully designed and constructed, you feel connected to nature. No speakers allowed, lighting dimmed by natural materials, makes it very quiet and peaceful day and night. Nice communal building with sofas, hammocks and yoga mats. Location is great, right by the wonderful almost pristine beach. A few hotels/hostels nearby, embedded among the palm trees, with some very nice low key restaurants with chairs in the sand. Very friendly staff, served great breakfast on our own veranda.

Superb little cabaña in the middle of the jungle. Wake up to the sound of birds and monkeys. I spent a lot of time relaxing on the balcony, as well as talking to Jorge and his family. They are wonderful hosts, very kind and generous. It's a happy place!

Beach was beautiful and right there, never had to leave it if you didn't want to. Beds were comfy, showers were good, loved waking up to the sunrise and sounds of birds. Really a lovely stay and will come back!

The facilities were amazing, they had it all. The rooms were comfortable and there is a really peaceful vibe at Quetzal. There are a lot of stairs though, but this is not a deal breaker for me at all, you can work out the food when going back to the room. About the food, the restaurant was amazing, the included breakfast had plenty of options and the happy hour made us "happy" during our stay. I'm definitely coming back if I'm ever in the Tayrona area again.

We loved our stay at Paraiso Ahimsa. Waking up in that beautiful location was like a dream. I loved watching the sunrise to the chorus of birds. I didn’t want to leave and definitely will return. I loved the view, the architecture, the decor, the host, the location, the nature, the multiple decks, hammocks, everything!

What makes this place so great, as so many have alluded to, is Fiona and Helmut - lovely, hospitable hosts who do everything they can to make you feel welcome. Loved the breakfasts and Helmut’s cooking in the evening was excellent too. The location is just magnificent and the views from the Finca and from the poolside are unforgettable - banana trees, jungle and the beautiful coastline. It is a rustic place but with lots of beautiful touches and a great spot from which to totally unwind and escape - though we also used it as a base to explore nearby Tayrona National Park and Palomino, both short bus rides away from the bottom of the hill. Thank you guys for sharing your slice of paradise with us, we miss it already!
