Very warm welcome. We were made to feel at home and enjoyed a really nice breakfast. Being slightly outside the main town (Puerto Ayora) made it feel very tranquil. Lovely green surroundings with beautiful flowers and banana trees!

So, we especially appreciated being at the Lodge which was quiet and peaceful. It is quite a lovely environment and the $5 cab ride downtown was worth it. The staff was excellent. Very attentive, friendly and kind hearted. Of course, we have found Ecuador to be like this virtually everywhere we go.
