Thé excellent lake views, drew us to the verandahs each night to enjoy the sunsets, starry skies and a beverage or two - even my grandson joined us for the moments of enjoying nature with hot chocolate - The lodge is very well designed and catered to our large group four queen rooms one twin share three toilet/showers large dining lounge area and well catered kitchen and laundry. Would definitely come back. Helen and Steven are wonderful hosts and offered us foods for breakfast - very thoughtful. Various points of interest - the sculptures and night lighting in the gardens, alpacas and family dogs, the veggie garden which Helen offered some food from . Thank you

My little Pug, Pixel, travelled with me as he had an operation in Hamilton. There are a lot of grassy areas for dogs to get a good run here. The room was very clean and new. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The owners were lovely. They were kind enough to give me a big discount on my second night. I definitely recommend Podium Lodge.

With 2 bedrooms, we had space to spread out. Our host was welcoming (with fresh bread and fruit) and helpful. The place was spotless with a huge bathroom. There were plenty of fruit trees in the yard for those interested...and cows, sheep and horses just down the driveway.

Lots of parking and room for trailers/campers. Had very spacious rooms with nice linen and I liked how the toilet/shower/basins were seperate so we were not tripping over each other in the morning. Very functional kitchen with toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave. A bonus was a full kitchen in the hub so you can BYO food and drink. Easy check in and out with friendly staff.
