Everything about the hotel and the staff was amazing! The hotel is beautiful with great rooms and a really nice pool to cool off in after spending the mornings and afternoon in the park. The staff was so hospitable, they made all the difference to make sure our stay was comfortable and even helped us plan out each day by creating an itinerary for us. The hotel location is also incredible, super close to the Zhangjiajie National forest park entrance. The hotel offers free shuttle to get to park entrance. A great breakfast included in the rate every morning as well. It was all fantastic!

Very, very helpful and friendly staff. The resort is unique and is a residence of local ethnic minorities. It is worth staying. We forgot our stuff and the hotel staff immediately sent them to our home. Very detailed.

The pride Valley 5 Lodge takes in providing outstanding service is evident, and any queries or requests were met with a smile, making us feel truly valued. They planned our itinerary for the visits to the park and were absolutely helpful in suggesting other activities. Our family of 4 stayed in the Family Suite, a spacious and tastefully decorated haven. The heated floors and hot bath were perfect for the winter season, and the nightly fireplace setup added a beautifully cozy touch to our evenings. The daily activities provided by Valley 5 Lodge were a highlight. From a delightful local candy-making session to arts and crafts for the kids, there was something for everyone. Our children had a blast, and the best part was they got to bring home their creations. The lodge's location on the hills offered a breathtaking view of the Valley, a picturesque sight that greeted us each morning at breakfast. Speaking of which, while the breakfast was simple, it was more than adequate, and the stunning backdrop made every meal special. In conclusion, I highly recommend Valley 5 Lodge for a memorable and enjoyable stay. I'm already looking forward to returning, perhaps during the summer season, to experience the exceptional hospitality once again. I liked absolutely everything! There is a free shuttle service from and to the station. There is a restaurant with an electronic menu, which is very convenient. The lobby and restaurant area is stylishly decorated. For communication, the hosts used a translation gadget and downloaded our language - it's just wow! We had pre-booked tickets for attractions. The hotel has an elevator and the room has smart curtains that open themselves. One of the best hotels we have visited in China.

My stay was excellent. The room exceeded my expectations, in features and size. It was quiet and elegant. The breakfast buffet was abundant and delicious. The staff tried hard and was very helpful, even though I did not speak Chinese. I used the laundry and the massage service, and both were excellent. I would choose to stay here again. The overall hotel was nicer than the listing presented.
