Featuring free WiFi and an outdoor pool, Homeward Mountain Resort is a pet-friendly accommodation with mountain view. The hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off service between the property and Yangjiajie Ticket Office in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. We reached at night and they provided clear instructions via the app on how to advise the taxi to reach the place, and waited outside for us to help with luggage. They brought us to the town area for dinner and also to a convenience store to get drinks and snacks. They were also very generous with giving tips on itinerary and helped us plan out a route with lesser queues. The hotel was located very near the mountain forest attraction. Breakfast provided was really delicious and we ordered dinner from them as well. The staff were friendly and we felt really well taken care of. I'll definitely be back again!

Featuring a terrace, all units are air conditioned and have a dining area and a seating area with a satellite TV. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. The property is owned and operated by a family, and they go above and beyond for service. Very good communication though they only know Mandarin, so have a translator app available if needed. When we arrived the taxi took us to the wrong location, we called owners and they came to pick us up right away. We stayed in one of the treehouses. Feels like you are in the middle of bamboo forest, with very pleasant nature sounds and running water. AC available in the bedroom runs better than any other Hotel we’ve been in in China. Even though full glass walls, has natural growth for privacy plus curtains in the bedroom. For dining they have their own onsite restaurant, and can eat in their dining room as well as outside on a couple tables. Dishes are typical for the region, and are at standard prices (no price gouging since there are not other options nearby) and additionally very well done and tasty beyond average. There is a wash machine onsite, no dryer. With humidity need to hang clothing out to dry outside in the sun or may not fully dry indoors. We are very pleased with the trip, the location (4.5km from middle ZhangJiaJie park entrance), customer service, accommodations and friendliness. If we ever make our way back to ZhangJiaJie we will be staying here again.

The pride Valley 5 Lodge takes in providing outstanding service is evident, and any queries or requests were met with a smile, making us feel truly valued. They planned our itinerary for the visits to the park and were absolutely helpful in suggesting other activities. Our family of 4 stayed in the Family Suite, a spacious and tastefully decorated haven. The heated floors and hot bath were perfect for the winter season, and the nightly fireplace setup added a beautifully cozy touch to our evenings. The daily activities provided by Valley 5 Lodge were a highlight. From a delightful local candy-making session to arts and crafts for the kids, there was something for everyone. Our children had a blast, and the best part was they got to bring home their creations. The lodge's location on the hills offered a breathtaking view of the Valley, a picturesque sight that greeted us each morning at breakfast. Speaking of which, while the breakfast was simple, it was more than adequate, and the stunning backdrop made every meal special. In conclusion, I highly recommend Valley 5 Lodge for a memorable and enjoyable stay. I'm already looking forward to returning, perhaps during the summer season, to experience the exceptional hospitality once again. It equipes two swimming pool for adult and children. While swimming, guests can enjoy the Tianmen Mountain view. Free breakfast is offered. Tianmen Mout Tian's Resort has its own restaurant, guests can take meals here. After the meal, you can take a walk in back yard. It has the BBQ facilities which help you to enjoy the nice gathering with friends. The soft drinks are available in the lounge bar. I liked absolutely everything! There is a free shuttle service from and to the station. There is a restaurant with an electronic menu, which is very convenient. The lobby and restaurant area is stylishly decorated. For communication, the hosts used a translation gadget and downloaded our language - it's just wow! We had pre-booked tickets for attractions. The hotel has an elevator and the room has smart curtains that open themselves. One of the best hotels we have visited in China.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is 18 km from the resort, while Yuanjiajie is 1.5 km from the property. The nearest airport is Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport, 35 km from Neodalle Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan. My stay was excellent. The room exceeded my expectations, in features and size. It was quiet and elegant. The breakfast buffet was abundant and delicious. The staff tried hard and was very helpful, even though I did not speak Chinese. I used the laundry and the massage service, and both were excellent. I would choose to stay here again. The overall hotel was nicer than the listing presented.
