This is a delightful apartment in a lovely cottage It feels like a proper home, decorated by someone with an eye for detail and a flair for homely interior design. Lots of small but very well thought through useful details, like the movement sensitive lighting through the kitchen to direct you to the bathroom in the night. Everything we needed for our overnight stay was provided. The beds were big and comfortable, lovely sitting areas inside and out and an attractive front garden. It was easy to find and there was no problem with parking. We would have enjoyed staying longer if our schedule had allowed. The owner was easy to contact and very helpful.

The property was clean, accessible and comfortable! We were in Timaru for a graduation but My husband and I wanted to make the most of the last week of the school holidays with our girls and little baby so we travelled a day before the event. We had planned a fun filled day at Caroline Bay park and at the Botanic Gardens for the Saturday. However, upon arriving at Seaview Sefton, our girls had other ideas and wanted to stay and explore and play in the front and back yard (also talking to the gold fishes in the pond) which was a huge surprise as we arrived late at night and didn’t see these till the morning. The house was so warm and beautiful we (adults) also didn’t want to go anywhere come Saturday morning we just wanted to relax at the property 😂

Gorgeous decor and a very welcoming atmosphere with many little extra touches making it feel luxurious. It was such a lovely space to spend our first night in NZ after a long day - flying into and driving from Christchurch. Very quiet and private but close to town amenities.

I didn't get the breakfast, but was happy to be able to use the small kitchenette for the week. The spa bath was brilliant, the bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains were ideal. The parking was excellent, loaction fantastic, very spacious and felt like a little bit of luxury in a very busy week. It felt safe and secure.

An old villa that had been nicely done up with everything we needed. Given the cold weather it was great that there was a log fire to add extra warmth even those there was also a heat pump. The fridge and pantry had the basics too. Comfy beds with electric blankets to take the chill off.

We loved everything about this little villa. The styling, the cleanliness, all the little extras available on hand (spare toothbrush and sewing kit proved very handy) and the fire! As previous people have said, it is truley a home away from home. We definitely will be back.
