When we arrived (which was late due to traffic) we were greeted by the enthusiasm of the host, he helped us with parking and was very excited to show us the place. We felt very welcome. There are private bathrooms which you can book to bath with your friends/family, one of the best thing about this little gem in Atami:) I was surprised by the cleanliness and the comfort level here. it’s a newly refurbished building, it has three floors with a spacious living room/common room on the second floor which is shared by all the customers here. The room comes with a standard toilet and a shower and quite spacious overall. The tatami bed is comfy. Other reviews complained about the location, but because we drive we think it is an amazing spot! It’s 3 min drive from the famous shrine, and 5 minute to the ginza where there is lots of restaurants and shops. You can also see the fireworks display in the living room if you come on the right times:) We didn’t get the youthful and energetic host’s name, but thank you so much we had a great time staying!!

The locals also like to have some food and drink at the Eat & stay and it is very easy to have a great time. The surroundings are beautiful, it is very quiet and peaceful. The sea & the mountains: outstanding. 10/10 <3!

The air-conditioned units have a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, a microwave, kettle, and a toaster. There is a private bathroom with shower in some units, along with slippers, a hair dryer and free toiletries. At the guest house, units are equipped with bed linen and towels. There was a great small onsen right around the corner, the shower was great, we loved the capsule beds. I could have used a little thicker mats, but really nice. The staff was amazing.

Apart from 1)the glorious ocean view(the host upgraded our room into one with ocean view) 2)free pick up from nearby places, which many comments have already mentioned, what I really appreciated is that the host was really trying to make our stay more pleasant. There was no toothbrush cup when we first got there, and my friend left her toothbrush on the table when we went out. When we went back she found her toothbrush put in a lovely small toothbrush cup. That was so sweet! The place itself was very nice as well, the weather was pretty good during our stay and we saw many stars at night, perfect place for getting away from the cities and enjoying nature.

Fuji, this guest house is conveniently located just a minute's walk from JR Fujinomiya Station. Very welcoming owner, speaks really good english, knows the fujinomiya very well.

The property houses café and a hot tub, while rooms come with hot spring water in the bathroom. Super clean, comfy and beautiful view! All amenities provided with extras like fabric spray, toilet spray, microwave, cutleries and there’s also onsen water piped direct to our private bathroom! Owners were super friendly and helpful despite some language barrier.
