Hello, we are Hostel & Information SAMURISE! Mt. FUJI HOSTEL SAMURISE KURA -蔵- is located only a few minutes walk away from Kawaguchiko station. As you arrive, you will be welcomed by the Japanese garden, where you can see the beautiful Japanese red maple in autumn time. The small house that was built about 70 years ago was now reborn as Mt. FUJI HOSTEL SAMURISE KURA -蔵-, and has been welcoming guests from all over the world since 2017. We respected and maintained the traditional Japanese style in the process of refurbishment, so you could enjoy and experience the traditional Japanese housing. We offer 4 different types rooms [Ume(梅) Momiji(椛) Sakura(桜) Tsubaki(椿)] depending on the group size. We can keep your luggage free of charge before you check-in and after check-out. We also do a bicycle hire, which is very convenient for cycling around Lake Kawaguchi looking over Mt. Fuji, and sightseeing the nearby attractions. We look forward to meeting you in Kawaguchiko!

Neighborhood info

The nearest station is Kawaguchiko train/bus station. which is just across the street from the house. Kawaguchiko station has great access to Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Narita and Haneda airports and other major cities. The area is very quiet and you will enjoy the beautiful nature as the city is surrounded by the mountains and lakes. Depends on the season but you can also enjoy beautiful flowers like cherry blossoms, roses and lavender. There are options for different activities too: visiting museums, relaxing at hot springs, riding a boat, going to seasonal festivals etc.
