We were pleasantly surprised by this stay! The room was beautiful - I cannot express how heavenly the beds were. My sister and I slept like logs! The decor is so charming, and the staff made us feel welcome. The location is easy to find and in a gorgeous little town. The staff booked us in for dinner at the pub out front, and we had the most delicious meal with friendly people. The breakfast the next morning was DELICIOUS and absolutely incredible for the price. It was quiet, clean and we really had a wonderful stay.

We couldn’t stay here. The owner phoned to say there was a problem with the room allocated to us so he booked us into the next door guest house, Fairlawns, where we had a pleasant overnight stay.

Really pretty guest house walking distance from the centre of Banbury. Free parking and a comfortable bed. I didn't have breakfast or dinner but it looked nice and busy so I would expect it was a good option.

Quality,& presentation of food ,honest integrity of owners ,who offered value & service that was once a traditional Innkeepers hallmark . This is a very beautiful small village if you are seeking peace & quiet , and the local residents seem to give support and appreciation ; for us ,this was a memorable two night visit ,thanks to the owners . Delightful stone and thatched Inn an attractive Cotswold village with very good evening meal. The pleasant Greek landlord has introduced the Taverna style to a classic English country pub with great success.
