Set in Nishijin, Villa Front Kyoto Seimei ヴィラフロント京都晴明 offers accommodations with a flat-screen TV and a kitchen. A microwave and kettle are also featured. The room was amazing. Very close with the bus stop and Family Mart. The electric was completely. I recommend this place for everyone visiting.

Nestled in a quiet residential area, Kyoto Brighton Hotel is located in the heart of Kyoto, a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Imperial Palace. All guest rooms are nonsmoking and soundproofed. My room was large with a very big shower and tub area and full size soaking tub. Everything was updated and the mattress was very comfortable. The room had everything I needed, including a small fridge and a handy in-room safety box. Breakfast was included with my room and I could choose between the excellent Japanese breakfast in the Japanese restaurant overlooking a garden, or opt for the Western-style buffet which featured made to order eggs and omelets and a wide array of delicious options. I liked the location near the Gosho Imperial Palace and the Marutamachi subway station. When I was feeling lazy I took the free shuttle to Oike/Karasuma, where I could catch two different subways (east-west and north-south). The open atrium in the center featured a coffee shop/bar and was a pleasant place to chat with friends. I used to live in Kyoto and this is one of my favorite parts of town, very convenient yet quiet. I can speak Japanese, but was glad that the front desk staff included some very good English speakers. I found the staff at this hotel very friendly and professional throughout the property. After staying for one week, I found it very hard to leave. I will definitely be back.

Well set in Kyoto, THE JUNEI HOTEL Kyoto Imperial Palace West provides an Asian breakfast and free WiFi. Wonderful stay!! The room was huge and the personal onsen was very relaxing after walking all day. It is about 10 minutes away from the subway and there are many temples and shrines near by. Staff was amazing and always available for help.

Located in Kyoto and with Kyoto International Manga Museum reachable within a 16-minute walk, Hotel Traveling Bridge Nijojo has express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi... We absolutely loved how spacious the room was, as well as the host! He was very kind, as he helped us send our luggages to our next hotel.

Conveniently located in the Kamigyo Ward district of Kyoto, HOTEL LiVEMAX Kyoto Nijojo-kita is located a 19-minute walk from Kyoto International Manga Museum, 1.5 miles from Kitano Tenmangu Shrine and... Regarding the price levels in Kyoto during peak season, this is a good deal. Modern hotel at an international standard. The hotel is close to one of the tourist bus lines that takes you to all the sights, the imperial palace and the castle are in walking distance. Just note that there are two Livemax hotels in this area, I went to the wrong one initially. Just stick to the address in the description and don't just search the name on Google maps like I did.

Providing quiet street views, Rinn Shiki Juraku in Kyoto provides accommodations, a bar, and a shared lounge. Beautiful place and the staff were really helpful. I liked the light meals and the drinks available in the bar.

Located conveniently in the center of Kyoto, Kokonoe Machiya has air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. The best stay I had in Japan. All the facilities are clean and comfortable. The owners are super friendly, full of useful tips and offer valuable advice and just general insight about Japan and Kyoto. Every morning they prepare traditional Japanese breakfast for free. I hope I get to come back at some point.
